Physical DescriptionAlahna is limber and slender, though well toned from her training to be a paladin of the Light. Standing at 5'8", she's slightly taller than average. Her attire is hued as she views the Sin'dorei should be dressed, with reds trimmed in gold all over, with darker greys to bring out the vibrant hues.

PersonalityA bit formal at first, Alahna is hardly an outlier of her people. Strong opinions, righteousness of her people, and abhorrence of anything that would taint the Light, she is strong in her faith and conviction, to the point of foolishness at times. To those who push through the brusque and off-putting outer layers, however, she can be warm and kind. Her conversion from a warrior filled with retribution, to a healer of those on the field of battle, to a front-line protector has shown more of her kinder side, for which she has been joyous.

Born the second child of a noble family, Alahna grew up thinking she would never have to worry about claiming the name of her House for her own. While her mother, a Priestess of the Light, wanted her to follow the same path and learn to heal and protect purely through magic, the young girl looked both to her Mother's faith and her father's weaponry and physical resolve. Through the influence of both her parents works, she chose to take a middle road to satisfy them both, choosing to become a Paladin.Initially, her work was light, given that she wasn't simply a commoner, but when she showed dissappointment at her treatment being easy, they accepted her request and trained her fully, like anyone else. Rather than being slated to become a field commander, she was to be within the rank and file, another soldier on the line.It was during her training, while she was away visiting distant family, that she and her family caught wind of the attack on Quel'thalas by the Lich King. She and her family raced home, arriving after the monstrosity had left to help pick up the pieces. Her primary trainer had been slain, fighting against the Scourge incursion, but there were others who took her under their wings, training her harder to make up for those they had lost. She became an instrument of revenge, her dedication to the Light becoming a desire to slay the undead. To her, those who lived beyond death were cursed and vile, abominations not worthy of shambling across Azeroth.Against her parents' wishes, she journeyed to Northrend to fight against the Scourge, and while she'd heard of battles taking place also against the Alliance, her unit never encountered them. She fought the Scourge in the frozen wastes of Icecrown while the heroes ascended the Citadel and ended the Lich King's terror. After the campaign, and her unit's return to Quel'thalas, smaller after many losses but looking to recruit, she took a leave to be with family. For several months, nearly a year, things had seemed fine. Then the world trembled and whole regions tore like a bandage over too much of a wound.Once again she joined her unit in war, facing the Twilight Dragonflight in their efforts to give Deathwing the dominion he so desired. Once again, she fought on the sidelijnes of history as heroes elsewhere claimed the victory the world needed. With events moving quickly, she got little to no rest before she was called to duty in the misty lands of Pandaria, the first time she strode the front line with the heroes of the Horde. She threw her might against the enemies at the Throne of Thunder, and helped provide valuable time to allow the victory over Garrosh, corrupted and deformed by an Old God as he was. When it was done, she once more took her leave. She stayed away as the Horde pressed into Draenor, wishing to fight against the Iron Horde, but not seeing a reason to do so. Instead, she stayed back, moving from her home on the Azurebreeze coast to the Isle of Quel'danas to further and deepen her connection to the light. In doing so, her eyes took on the golden hue they now bear.Yet the Legion, through the efforts of the new Draenor's Gul'Dan, began to return, and her time could no longer be spent at home. With the blessings of her family, she eagerly journeyed out to face the Legion where she could, seeking to remove them from Azeroth the only way they'd understand. Violently. The battles raged back and forth across the Isles, and eventually the Legion was beaten back, but the Journey to Argus was beyond what she'd expected. She, like many others answering the call to fight, met Tyrion. She had but a moment of awe before getting her assignments, and she and the unit, now rebuilt and filled with warriors and paladins alike, spent much of the Argus campaign in brutal head-on clashes with the Legion's forces. When she saw Sargeras himself stab Azeroth, she wondered what would come of it. With the Banshee Queen as Warchief, she had no idea. She'd thought she would be able to rest once more, but upon the discovery of Azerite, the call to battle went up once more. This time, however, it was a far different cry. Not the valiant warcry of a just battle against a truly evil foe, but the tumultuous cry of bloodlust to claim power over the enemy, regardless of who they might be.To this day, she retains her understanding of the field of battle, but the cry for war on Azeroth broke her free of her vengeful mindset for the first time since the campaign in Northrend. She stepped back from the front line, choosing to be a field medic, wielding her connection to the Light to heal and save, rather than to harm. She now wanders the world, healing those in battle who need it, where they need it, in order to ensure the job gets done.

Roleplay Hooks:

  • You're familiar with the Sin'Dorei nobility

  • You've worked with/have an interest in working with the Light

  • You need something made of metal, as she's a known, competent blacksmith.

  • You simply want to chat with her(walk-ups are welcome and ecouraged).

Writing Styles:I'm comfortable with effectively any kind of roleplay. If something gets too be too much for me, or if things take a turn I'd personally rather avoid, I'll be certain to let you know directly on an OOC level to avoid miscommunication. As for format, I'm comfortable, again, with most any kind, from single-line dialog to multi-line paragraph formats.
